Wolf Loescher has played drums and percussion since he left the womb. (His mother suspects he might have started even earlier than that.) Over the years, he has played in many genres: symphonic, marching, hard rock, pop rock, prog rock, funk, blues, folk, country, Americana, and even bagpipe & drum. He has years of experience performing live at venues and festivals large and small across the United States, and has many studio recording credits. He brings his unique hand percussion “world kit” to the Piper Jones Band, bringing the thunder to each show and leaving everything on the stage (where presumably it belongs).
Wolf uses Tama drums and hardware; Remo percussion and drum heads; Meinl percussion; Sabian cymbals; ProMark sticks and beaters; Farmer foot drums and percussion, and Cooperman bodhrans.
